for the neophyte who cannot understand Kṛṣṇa as the Supreme Spiritual Entity. The Virāṭa Form is composed of the entire material ingredients of the Universe, seen as the body of the Lord—but it is not His eternal Form.
Viṣṇu-tattva —A plenary portion of the Supreme Lord, Śrī Kṛṣṇa. These expansions are the same in potency, but Kṛṣṇa is the original Personality of Godhead. For example, many candles may be lit from one candle and the candles are equal in illumination to the original, but they are still not the original. The Original Personality of Godhead, the Source of all Viṣṇu-tattvas is Śrī Kṛṣṇa.
Vṛndāvana —Place in India where Lord Kṛṣṇa displayed His eternal, transcendental Pastimes 5,000 years ago. Vṛndāvana is also the name of Kṛṣṇa's Abode in the topmost spiritual planet, Goloka. The pure devotee is able to see the Vṛndāvana within this material world as non-different from Vṛndāvana in the spiritual sky. His Land, Vṛndāvana, is non-different from Himself.
Vyāsadeva —The literary incarnation of Kṛṣṇa who compiled all the Vedic literatures.
Yogis —Those who practice the yoga process (linking with the Supreme). The purpose of the Haṭha- and Aṣṭānga-yoga systems, i.e., sitting postures, breath control, meditation, is to control the senses and see the Form of the Personality of Godhead within the heart.
Yoga-bhraṣṭas —Souls fallen from the path of self realization.
