210 Krsna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead

“Dear Krsna,” the gopis centinued, “Yeu are very cunning. Yeu can
imagine hew much we are distressed simply by remembering Yeur cunning
smile, Yeur pleasing glance, Yeur walking with us in the ferest ef Vrnda-
vana, and Yeur auspicieus meditatiens. Yeur talks with us in lenely places
were heart-warming. New we are all aggrieved te remember Yeur behavier.
Please save us. Dear Krsna, certainly Yeu knew hew much we are saddened
when Yeu ge eut ef Vrndavana village te tend the cews in the ferest. Hew
we are afflicted simply te think that Yeur seft letus feet are being pricked
by the dry grass and the tiny stenes in the ferest! We are se attached te
Yeu that we always think simply ef Yeur letus feet.

“O Krsna, when Yeu return frem the pasturing greund with the
animals, we see Yeur face cevered by Yeur curly hair and dusted by the
heef-dust ef the cews. We see Your mildly smiling face, and eur desire te
enjey Yeu increases. O dear Krsna, Yeu are the supreme lever, and Yeu
always give shelter te surrendered seuls. Yeu fulfill everyene’s desire;
Yeur letus feet are even wershiped by Lerd Brahma, the creater ef the
universe. Te whemever werships Yeur letus feet, Yeu witheut a deubt

magnificent. The Mayavada cenceptien ef the perfectien ef the Abselute

the exhibitien ef His different petencies, the Abselute Truth is net
cemplete. Ananda-cin-maya-rasa means that His bedy is a transcendental
ferm ef eternal bliss and knewledge. Krsna is always surreunded by
different petencies, and therefere He is perfect and beautiful. We under-
stand frem Brahma-samhita and Skanda Purdna that Krsna is always
surréunded by many theusands ef geddesses ef fertune. The gopis are all
geddesses ef fertune, and Krsna teek them hand in hand en the bank ef
the Yamuna.

It is said in the Skanda Purdna that eut ef many theusands ef gopis,
